That is great news !,
so you now have new PC ?
Or why the cooler suddenly screams ?
Petr
Hi guys,
I finally managed the switch off my wife's computer and mine.
So I can work at home again on thinBasic stuff, yeah!
But this computer is soooo loud, I need a new CPU cooler. When running on
full speed, this thing sounds like a 747 starting. ;D
Cheers
Michael

Yes, my wife's PC. It is slighty better then my notebook. But it made that noise now for a loooong time.
I could not stand it so today I went to the dealer, got an Artic Cool Freezer 7 Pro. It was a pain to
remove the old one, as it also had a connection UNDER the motherboard. So I had to remove everything.
But now it is quite and I think the Pentium gets a cold now. ;D Under 100% CPU usage, it doesn't get warmer
than 54 degrees.
I can imagine it was quite surgical operation
What is your 3D accelerator now then :P ?
Bye,
Petr

Glad you can work at home now Mike. Having to pull the motherboard out to change the Fan, what a pain and I thought those AMD CPU Fan clips were tough, I will never complain again
