I'm checking ...
I've just installed the latest version, (1.7.0.0), and bundled a script, however it refuses to run!
All I get is the following message:Also note the double space before 'library'ThinBundle was not able to load library
The script uses OS and INI modules, and the old version was uninstalled etc prior to the new one being installed; any ideas!
I'm checking ...

Windows 10 Pro for Workstations 64bit - 32 GB - Intel(R) Xeon(R) W-10855M CPU @ 2.80GHz - NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000
I tested in a separate machine installing latest version present in web download and all seems ok here.
Can you please give more details?
When the error occurs? When you press MAKE button in thinBundle window?
Also, please be sure to restart your computer and install again thinBasic. In previous versions there were situations where thinAir process was still present in memory even if not visible. If you install into this situation, thinAir is not properly installed. We are trying to fix this situation.
Let me know.

Hi Big Jon,
in order to collect more information could you please check the activate verbose mode flag, make the bundle, run it again and finally let us know the details?
Thanks.

Hi Jon,
it seems that the bundle can't find the ZLIB.DLL, please try to uncheck the Compress All Files flag, try again and let me know.
Thanks,
Roberto.

Okay, no errors during the build, the following is upon running the executable:
- Step CreateOutputFolder passed
- Step IsolationFolderCreated passed
- ThinBundle was not able to load library
- Error3
Invalid TOC
Did you also restarted your PC and reinstalled thinBasic?
Sorry to ask to do that but because we are not able to reproduce the problem this will let us be sure you have all thinBasic DLLs in sync with version 1.7.0.0
Thanks
Eros

At first I thought I was looking at a Windows Vista problem because the .tBasic file only works when Run as administrator from the command prompt. (If I double-click on it etc. it fails). I decided that the executable when Run as administrator however must spawn a different process which obviously doesn't run under the same credentials.
I decided to install on a Windows XP box, the installation went fine and the .tBasic file ran perfectly when double-clicked.
However I had the exact same error as previously with the executable.
The problem doesn't occur on either system when I uncheck the Compress All Files flag, as you suggested. And the executables work flawlessly.
Thank you for giving some of your time to this problem.
Big Jon,
can you please check if in your \thinBasic\ directory there is zLib.dll library?
Also you should find zLib.dll in \thinBasic\Lib\ directory.
If not, can you please copy in both directories and report back?
I've tested a new fresh install and all seems working as expected. Maybe something went wrong in your installation and I would like to understand it.
Thanks
Eros

The library exists in both locations, it also exists inside the isolation folder created as part of a failed previous version.
I did notice, although it's unlikely that it matters, that both \thinBasic\zLib.dll and \thinBasic\Lib\zLib.dll are not identical based on their modified dates and their 'file version' details.
A bad install is less likely based on the fact that I've installed it on two different systems carrying two different OSes.
This is the MD5 checksum of the installation file I used as a check that it isn't somehow a corrupted download.28B08E22 - A2F13159 - 70EECBB2 - 4DCF95AB
