    Machine Code forum

I've created a new forum dedicated to machine code in thinBasic.
With the introduction of MC_Eval and MC_Exec (still not published when I'm writing this message but you can find it here) there seems to be new great opportunity to speed-up and improve some script parts using direct machine code calling from inside thinBasic.

Let us know what you think.

    Hi Charles,

thanks a lot for "bombarding", whole new world for me, but in these small steps it can be learnt pretty smoothly
I have 64bit AMD Sempron, and all features in your sample were detected as present.

    Thanks a lot,
    Petr

    Re: Machine Code forum

For the first time ever, a forum will be happy to be ... borbarded ;D

But what about a new thread post for every separate example? This will help all to better follow specific issues and replyes. Also, if bombarding will be so massive, we will be able to create sub forums for specific areas of interest.

    Thanks for bombing

Okay let's do that. I will try to come up with very simple illustrative examplesto start with. There is quite a lot of unexplored territory for myself as well, like the MMX and SIMD instructions.
