    Re: New Logo for thinBasic

I have no graphic design skills, and cannot offer a logo design, but may I offer a thought?

To me, thinBasic is as much about the people involved as it is a programming language. By that, I mean there is a very strong human element to thinBasic. It is more than just a shiny tool that you might buy at a hardware store. Through this forum we learn about and get to know the developers, contributors, members, and even new people such as myself. We share in each others lives just a little bit. A logo that somehow incorporates this human element could convey warmth and trust rather than just cold technology.

    With my warmest regards,

    Randall

    Randal,

you catch a consideration I didn't think about. To me it seems so natural the human factor here that I just realise how it can be very important.
If we will be able to insert this idea in the logo it will be great.

Thanks a lot for this suggestion

This wasnt created by me but I like the idea of working hand in hand. I am not suggesting using this but an idea based on this.

    Wow, very nice.
The only cons I can see is that all guy are looking the same so they seems controllers in MATRIX movie
But I really like it! How did you create it? What application?

    Thank you Abraxas.

Perhaps a graphic along the lines of the logo used by Henckels knives. I think it needs to be pretty simple, but I admit I know little about graphic design or logos.
