    Simple MCI utility

    Hi,

feeling stressed no new posts on the forum in last 5 days, I had to add something here ;D

In the file above is simple sound system for playing files + sample script.
All you need from your side is to replace the name of mp3 I have entered with real ones on your hard drive to hear something

In the sample you can use Delete/Insert and PageUp/PageDown to set volume for each sound source - you can produce nice cross-fade effects this way.

    Have fun !

    Re: Simple MCI utility

    Hi Petr,

you are right. Not online during the last days, Just cheking 2/3 times a day if something new.
Reason is because Roberto and I are very busy at work in those days. We are doing a lot of things we just delayed too much:
    • finishing to migrate NT4 company domain to AD forest
    • migrate mail system from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003 under AD
    • installing new franchising system version for our company shops (more than 30 shops)
    • developing data interface from our legacy system to franchising system (a lot of MSSQL DTS)
    • ... and some other minor tasks related to real life work

Of course we didn't forgot thinBasic, be sure.

What we are woking on in the meantime?
    • COM interface developed as native thinBasic Core functionality but using C language as development language. We do not want open another PB war for any licence reasons.
    • VARIANT data types in Core module
    • thinCore.dll as 3rd party distributable module (as we promise to you)

In the meantime you can always contact us with all the ways you already know. It will be always a pleasure.

    Thanks for the post.
    Ciao

    Hi Eros,

I'm glad to hear you again!

I understand you have a lot of work, I'm too quite kind of bussy ( with good results at last, hurray ), but I cannot miss single day without at least short look here

Good luck with you work and real-life projects; I'm looking forward to the thinBASIC extensions you mentioned too, that will rock !
