Just little problem Kent,
try to use this:

TBGL_RenderMatrix2D( -5, -5, 5, 5 )
[/code]
instead of what you have in code.
TBGL_RenderMatrix2D has lower left corner specified first, and then top right one.
You will see the plot will look the same as in the book.
