Stop paying your bills now.

If you want to buy something, go ahead, charge it.

Don't go to work anymore, you'll be wasting your remaining time.

If you are religious, go to church.

If you have been a bad person, maybe you can do something to redeem yourself.

Goodbye.

Hell wasn't even on the radar screen until the 40s when evangelists realized they needed something to scare everyone into follow them.

I forgot, today is the last day.

Now, I'm a little surprised I was able to connect to the Internet.

Everything must be going to happen later.

Dan
reading my first reply may be interpreted as rude but it was not meant to be, I know you don't take his prediction seriously, my point was why the news media even bothers to cover something like that.
look, he's supposed to be a preacher, a follower of the Master Jesus and yet he in his action calls him a liar, not even a muslim would do that.

I didn't think you were rude.

The media always covers people who predict the end of the world. Maybe for two reasons. 1) It scares people a little bit, but, in a non-threatening way, sort of like going to a scary movie. People like to be be scared like that. 2) So that everyone can laugh at the guy when he is proven wrong.

This pattern has been going on for at least hundreds of years.

With respect to Harold Camping, as an amateur psychologist, I wonder if his prediction has anything to do with his age, 90. Since his world (here) is probably pretty close to ending, maybe he feels that it should be the same for everyone else.

If this prediction is again proven false, then, I think the funniest thing would be if he doesn't miss a beat, and again immediately says he made a math error, and the new date will again be 5 months in the future, on March 21.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now, I'm beginning to get a little worried.

Here in California it is approximately 9:45 PM, and, everything seems normal.

I'll go out in the backyard, maybe I can see something.
