new tbgl example 'mine-fields'

hi all thinbasic users...

here just a little more input with the new power and capabilities of thinbasic/tbgl..

a) created a simple and little tbgl example full of madness mines searching for new targets...

b) added two new 3d 'mine-field' model objects (M15) to sea how beautiful this can be when this crowded mines are caught by the blue mine and I must laugh... thinbasic and tbgl makes a lot of fun! - enjoy it !

ps: - first example was build by petr (thanks!), I will improve it from time to time with new knowledge, objects and functions... because of missing time just the first try... here we are...

bye, servus, freezing Lionheart

Re: new tbgl example 'mine-fields'

hi

...new little update... vol 1c/1d, before I can sleep

a) - faster edition, no demo end, blue mine hunter survive... add a new mine object, but the third object I cannot see, don't know why, but I am tired, that's a fact...

b) - bigger hunter object you can see now better

c) - good night and

d) - good morning when I have done some changes early in the morning...

e) - now: holidays for one week !
... I am out now...

ps: I would like a displayed time code for the objects into script... it's possible?

ciao and servus, Lionheart (Frank)

Hi Frank,

have a nice holidays
Interesting demo, maybe the mines are gone too fast

One thing, what do you mean by "time code"?

I get an error when trying to run it, has there been any updates that I might have missed that this demo needs?

Which error?
Current latest thinBasic preview is mentioned at the top of every forum page. I refreshed version on 2008.10.05 with new features.

hi all
dear kent...

have a nice holidays Smiley
Interesting demo, maybe the mines are gone too fast Smiley

One thing, what do you mean by "time code"?
a) holidays: ok, was very wonderful ;D ...

b) sorry, was so tired at this night... "time code" I meant a simple clock running down (countdown!) when the hunter has destroyed all objects...

c) yes, the hunter was too fast... I will check it and build a new version...

@kent: d) does everything runs now with the new update of thinbasic on your machine with my mine-fields example?

best wishes, Lionheart

It is working fine now. Abraxas sent me the link to the latest download and it ran fine. Thanks.

Re: new tbgl example 'mine-fields'

Hi Frank,

nice new version, although it is still too fast for me

To make font more visible, disable lighting like this:
TBGL_UseLighting %FALSE
TBGL_PrintFont "How much lifetime left for evil mine-fields?", -6, 2+sin(GetTickCount/1000+1)/2, -20
TBGL_UseLighting %TRUE
