Hi Dan,
I have been trained in LISP in school this semester, using LISP Works environment.
It is very interesting language, but as I do mostly number crunching lately, it is not much of use for me.
The LISP Works behave very oddly, overriding classic Windows handling of richedit window:
- Pressing END takes me to the end of file, not to end of line
- You can't use SHIFT+arrows to mark text
- Mark text using mouse, pressing DELETE will result in nothing
- Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V not working
Now you can imagine writing simple text in the IDE becomes slightly hellish
Is the EMACS better in this?
