here is a new version of the Blender export script for M15 files. This version exports now normals too.

Thanks a lot Mike for this tool,

it opens new visual possibilities for Blender artists here.
As latest exporter supports normals, it means the loading of files is faster and the look of normals is truly WYSIWYG.
You can finally use models with smoothed and rough normal regions at the same time.

    Tested with Blender 2.49.

    Hi folks,

Just to let you know... when the Python API seems to by stable for Blender 2.5/2.6, I will port the exporter script over.

    Petr,

is the file format for M15 still the same like when I created the old export script for Blender?

    Cheers

Cool, will look into creating an export script for the current blender version then.

Or do you think that it isn't needed anymore.

    Thanks for your offer Mike,

but I think currently it is okay to export to OBJ from Blender and pass it through OBJ2M15.
From what I have seen lately, the models are not used very much anyway.
